Does Any Of This Sound Familiar?
![]() | "Coaching is what I love doing but I spend most of my time desperately seeing new clients, doing admin work, or just stressing over things. My gift is coaching not paperwork!" "I'm worried by the seeming hoards of unprofessional coaches and coach referral services out there giving me or coaching as a profession a bad reputation."
"I feel like I am behind the eight ball in social media and online stuff – I feel like I have to do it, but I really don't want to spend my time there." "I would like to be able to plan my work better – so that I am able to research and create new seminars and training products while managing client work load – I would like to not feel like I always have a looming deadline" "I'm tried of the hot or cold nature of my business. Some months I am too overwhelmed with business to add systems or grow my practice. Other times I am too stressed about paying the bills to focus on big picture stuff like creating new training materials or writing a book...I just hunt down referrals or cold call. Then I repeat the cycle over and over." |
Don't Worry, You're Not Alone...
When I asked my clients what frustrated them most.
Here are the 3 things they told me:
1) REAL coaches, coaches with the experience, training and abilities to make a change in their clients' lives, are being crowded in with "part time life coaches". When you tell people you're a coach they think of their crazy cousin who is also a "coach".
2) You may be feeling is the constant need to sell your services. You love to serve, to share your voice, and to coach. You're gift is serving, not selling. Because coaching is such a personal service, when your client list is thin insecurities and self doubt start to surface.
Often this leads to under-valuing and then under-pricing your services.
Selling a personal service like coaching or consulting can be an awkward thing for those who are more driven by service than dollars. Unfortunately, those who are driven by dollars are often better at selling (and under-delivering), while you're stuck under-selling and over-delivering.
3) One client told me she feels like she has all the information in the world, and no idea how to implement any of it. She knows about educational selling, seo, email marketing and webinars the same way I know about making movies.
"So many talented coaches and trainers drain all their energy struggling at creating their marketing or, a fate worse than death for some, cold calling for sales.
When the time comes to work with their clients they are frustrated, exhausted and
not able to share their gifts and serve at their highest level."
What if you were able to focus 90% of your time and energy on what you love to do? What if you woke up each morning excited because you knew your marketing was handled, leads were coming in, and your head and heart would be 100% with your clients that day?
This is my vision for you.
